I finally got around to making a fairy. I'm still experimenting with the pattern so this is my first attempt but I'm liking the result. My daughter loves her and named the fairy, Sara. I think it's funny considering the reason we named our daughter Teagan is because of a Canadian indie rock band called Tegan and Sara (they are sisters).
Meet Daisy, the Duck Lovey Blanket. She is about 14" X 14", made with lots of love and 100% acrylic yarn. She is soft and snuggly, and is waiting for a loving child who will take good care of her. Available for $30 on my Etsy shop.
I meant to post this a month ago but got side-tracked with orders and every day stuff. I made this Cloche hat for the 3-year old daughter of a good friend. The bow is removable and can be used as a hair clip or attach to a headband. As always, I had to bribe my daughter to model the hat for me before I wrap it up. :)
I really liked how the pattern turned out and I love the colors my friend choose. If anyone is interested, I will take custom order with your color preference and size. I plan to make another one but with a different type of yarn...more on that later! The pattern inspiration for this hat is from Naturally Nora Crochet - One of my favorite pattern creators: http://www.etsy.com/shop/naturallynoracrochet |
